Most of the inquiries I get are from people who don’t make a living booking speakers. They are assigned to get a speaker for an upcoming event, so they scour the Internet, cross their fingers, and then hope they made the right decision. The problem is that often the experienced and inexperienced can speakers can look the same to the novice booker, so how does one tell the difference?
In this video, I talk about seven things that you should always look for when booking a speaker. This video is great for the average Joe or Jane, but it will also be a great view for people who have been around the professional speaker block a few times.
I am doing exactly this, trying to find speakers for our local SHRM Chapter meetings and symposium for 2020.
